Scott is a Managing Partner of Rednor Investment Fund, responsible for broadening the family investment portfolio into asset-backed lending, industrial and real estate verticals to complement its adverting & media core. Scott brings a distinguished investing career that has spanned the investment horizon from early-stage venture capital to publicly-traded equities.
Currently, Scott is the founder and Managing Partner of Red Bear Capital, an advisory and consulting platform for construction, real estate and property technology companies seeking strategic growth support. Prior to launching his own firm, Scott was the Vice President of Investments for LENx, Lennar Corporation’s technology, innovation and strategic investing division. Scott was responsible for the homebuilder’s corporate venture capital portfolio and was an active board member on many investments.
Scott began his career at Zelman & Associates, a leading independent equity research firm that specialized in the US housing sector. He was one of the company's first hires shortly after its founding and was an instrumental member in helping build it into one of the premier sell-side institutions on Wall Street.
Scott currently resides in Brooklyn with his growing family. Outside of the office, Scott is a junkie for a good workout and an avid New York Knicks fan still waiting on an elusive championship.
